Upper School kicked off their WOW events for the year with three fantastic dance workshops based around our theme “Different places, Different people”.

Katie the dance teacher took us on a journey around the world looking at how water connects us via the oceans and seas. There was a special focus on Africa using both music and movements from this amazing continent.

Sport Relief is a biennial charity event from Comic Relief to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world’s poorest countries. Our pupils and staff helped support this event by wearing sports clothing for a £1 donation towards the charity and there were lots of  sports activities throughout the day. We raised £137!

Last week we had two important visitors to St Giles, two sheep named Wendy & Winnie.  Most of our pupils came out to meet them and learnt about how to groom and care for sheep.  They were very friendly and everyone enjoyed meeting them.
