On Wednesday 23rd January, a team of St Giles students attended Evelyn Grace Academy in Lambeth for the first round of the Panathlon competition.

Abdul displayed excellent leadership skills as captain of the Boccia team. He calmly and confidently took control of the game by slowing the pace and  communicating well to his team mates, Sana, Esther and Daniel.

Jessica played brilliantly in table cricket and competed in the team relay races. As did Daniel and Abdul in the slalom.

As part of Team Croydon, with Priory School and Riddlesdown Collegiate, they scored a 58 out of a maximum of 60 points, taking first place and securing their place in the second round. Well done Team Croydon.!
