We are seeking additional Midday Supervisory Assistants, to join our hard working and supportive staff at St Giles School. We are a school for pupils with complex medical needs, physical disabilities and learning difficulties and include pupils and students in Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post 16. We are a happy and successful learning environment where we value creativity and celebrate everyone’s efforts to participate and contribute to the best of their ability.
Our Midday Supervisory Assistants work alongside our class staff: during the lunch period where their duties include feeding, personal care and engaging with pupils with a range of learning difficulties including some with very complex needs.
The ideal candidate will be a positive individual who is calm and caring and willing to learn new skills. If you have good people skills, plenty of enthusiasm, and energy and enjoy working in a friendly environment, we would be pleased to hear from you.
Experience in working with pupils with special educational needs or young children would be beneficial but not essential for the right applicant.
