Contract: 36 hours per week – 46.2 weeks per annum plus one week during summer holidays
Monday – Friday 8.15 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
We wish to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our busy administrative staff team at St Giles School. This is a key role that would suit someone with previous experience of working in a school HR environment who has excellent administration and touch typing skills.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the human resources function within the school and will be expected to minute a variety of Head Teacher meetings, therefore accurate touch typing and minute taking skills are essential.
You must be able to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team and will need to have the ability to prioritise your own workload, meet deadlines and liaise effectively with all stakeholders. You will be supported by the School Business Manager and Head Teacher.
The ideal candidate should be committed, energetic, have an eye for detail and be able to work to high standards. Previous experience of working within a school office environment is preferable as well as the ability to use SIMS.NET and Microsoft packages to a high standard.

Our Pupil Care and Support Assistants will support pupils’ personal care and personalised programmes at lunch time, in the classroom and in the swimming pool. This post is temporary, in the first instance, and will be reviewed on a regular basis in line with the requirements of the school.
The right candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to learn, preferably, with experience of working with children or in a care related environment. We will provide further training and support, fantastic colleagues and amazing children. This is a physically demanding role and all applicants must be willing to work across all age ranges within the school.

The ideal candidate will be a positive individual who is calm and caring and willing to learn new skills. If you have good people skills, plenty of enthusiasm, and energy and enjoy working in a friendly environment, we would be pleased to hear from you.
Experience in working with pupils with special educational needs or young children would be beneficial but not essential for the right applicant.
